Billie Jean, Look at Me

Billie Jean, Look at Me (빌리진 날 봐요), a romantic comedy starring Park Hee Bon (박희본) and Lee Ji Hoon(이지훈). Yoo Bang Hee's (Park Hee Bon) Prince Charming is teen idol Choi Hye Sung (Lee Ji Hoon) not exactly the most approachable person. Turning her one-sided love into near stalking, Bang Hee ends up ruining Hye Sung's young career by revealing information she shouldn't have to the public.

Eight years pass by, and Hye Sung is still suffering from that failure, roaming the streets aimlessly when a familiar face suddenly appears. Bang Hee, now an assistant writer for a Star Making Project, promises she'll make up for all her mistakes by making Hye Sung a star.

Find this kdrama so-so but the song 'It's Just that' in this OST by Super Junior is nice though. ;)

1% of Anything

1% of Anything (1%의 어떤 것), a cute and heart-warming kdrama. Kim Da Hyun (Kim Jung Hwa) is a young and sincere middle school teacher, who has little interest in money. She is also extremely warm-hearted and loves to help other people. When she helps carry an elderly man's belongings from the train to another location, the elderly man is extremely thankful. This grandfather turns out to be the extremely rich owner of a well known conglomerate.

His grandson, Lee Jae In (Kang Dong Won) is a quick-tempered businessman who rivals his grandfather, but in an almost comical way. In an order to "tame" his favorite grandson, the grandfather agrees to give his entire fortune to the person who marries Kim Da Hyun, therefore forcing Jae In to meet the girl whom his grandfather chose.

Although at first Da Hyun and Jae In don't get along because of Jae In's extremely cute but bad temper, their arguments bring them closer together. Jae In starts to get jealous when Da Hyun's fellow teacher starts liking her too. Through the clever conditions that Jae In's grandfather makes, Jae In starts a relationship he does not look forward too. However, what looked like a relationship that would 99% not work out, turns out to be the "perfect" match, the 1% chance.

As Much as Heaven and Earth

By Land and Sky (하늘만큼 땅만큼), a heartwarming kdrama which I enjoyed watching although the total episodes was 165. Suk Ji Soo (Han Hyo Joo) is a kindhearted and thoughtful woman caring about the harmony of her family. Jeong Mu Young (Park Hae Jin) struggles through many troubles and forgivness within his family. Ji Soo and Mu Young's family in this drama are complete opposites. Her family is happy while his family is not. Eun Ha is a girl with a cheerful personality and she thinks importantly of people's relationships and puts much effort into everything she does to make her family happy. The drama focused on different family problems faced in modern day society.

Han Hyo Joo and Park Hae Jin make a good loving couples together in this show but find that Han Hyo Joo looked prettier as Eun Chae in IIjimae. As for Park Hae Jin, watched his performance on Famous Princesses and he was pretty cute as the aide aka 'xiao gen ban'. ;)

Kim Bum

This weekend, I would like to feature on Kim Bum (So Yi-Jung) as I have covered quite a bit on Kim Hyun Joong & Lee Min Ho.

Kim Bum (Kim Sang-bum) born on 7 July 1989 a young & charming South Korean actor who has appeared in East of Eden & Boys Before Flowers. Not as charming as Kim Hyun Joong though. Keke...

In fact, I preferred his acting skills as the young Lee Dong Chul in 'East of Eden' rather than So Yi Jung in 'Boys Before Flower'. ;)

Check out below for the list of photos on Kim Bum!

Likeable or Not

I Hate You, But It's Fine (미우나 고우나) is a kdrama about love, family, and the realism of people’s dreams! Nice Kdrama but slighty draggy as the total episodes was 172. Like the way, Ki Ji Suk & Han Ji Hye acted as a cute couple, especially when they got married. ;)

Na Dan Pung (Han Ji Hye [한지혜]) is a company marketing team leader. She is smart and hardworking and ascended to her position at a young age, but her professional demeanor is disturbed by Baek Ho's rookie mistakes. Kang Baek Ho (Kim Ji Suk [김지석]), the only child of a widowed Dongji, he drives a taxi and gambles at the beginning of the series. Although a bit of a good for nothing fellow, he is very kind-hearted and sweet. After his mother marries Mr Bong Man Su, the president of a large food product company called Bonjour Foods, Baek Ho gets a job in the marketing department.

Baek Ho falls in love with Dan Pung, but is afraid to tell her because Dan Pung is dating his high school classmate, Hyun-woo, a doctor from a wealthy family. But Hyun-woo is also inconsiderate of Dan Pung's feelings & dumps him. Sometime after, Dan Pung realizes she loves Baek Ho.

Baek Ho and Dan Pung want to get married, but must first endure the fierce opposition of her mother and brother by sending her to The States' branch office. Dan Pung's mother eventually relents after Dan Pung protests by starving herself.

Once married, they are a very happy couple. About two years after their wedding, Dan Pung becomes pregnant.

Never did I expect that Baek Ho is in fact Bong Man Su's biological son. Anyway, the possibility is there because when Man Su and Dong Ji (Baek Ho's mother) were so in love when they were young, but were forced to break up because Mansu's mother opposed the marriage.

Catch this heart-warming kdrama which I highly recommend. ;)
